Known Issues

  • Water segmentation may, on some occasions, provide false positive identifications of small water patches in very oblique images.

  • LOD mesh generation may fail for point clouds with a small number of points.

  • Under some circumstances, the WKT string read back from a LAS point cloud file does not match the one used to write the file. This has only been observed on Windows with some spatial reference systems.

  • Some error messages may fail to be logged on Windows when cameras.make_input_cameras() fails due to image paths that include non-ASCII characters.

  • Exporting point clouds as SLPK may fail due to intermittent quantization issues. Retrying the export generation should succeed.

  • Calling calib.calibrate() after gsplat.gen_gs() in the same process may cause any subsequent gsplat.gen_gs() call to fail.

  • Progress reporting of AutoGCP may reset due to hardware failures.

  • The objects returned by dsm.gen_dsm(), dsm.gen_dtm, ortho.gen_orthomosaic, and fastalgo.gen_orthomosaic must be deleted before the interpreter exists, otherwise a segmentation fault will occur.

  • With Python 3.14 on Ubuntu 26.04, the use of DJI Thermal SDK could occasionally cause heap-corruption errors during process shutdown.
